Bandung, September 26, 2026 — The Chairman of the Indonesia-Japan Business Network (IJBNet), Dr. Ir. Suyoto Rais, M.Eng, attended the Talent Development Course (TDC-3) organized by the Polytechnic of Social Welfare (Poltekesos) Bandung, Saturday (9/26/2026).
This event serves as a platform for students to gain preparation related to readiness to enter the workforce. The series of events includes career preparation, Q&A sessions, information on career opportunities, and technical guidance for pre-certification of school social companions.
In the Career Opportunities Information session, Dr. Ir. Suyoto Rais, M.Eng introduced the Indonesia-Japan Business Network (IJBNet) while providing information about job opportunities in Japan to the participants.
One of the opportunities offered by IJBNet is the chance to work in Japan as a caregiver (Kaigo) for Poltekesos students, especially those who will be graduating next Monday. This program serves as an alternative career development option for graduates who want to gain professional experience in Japan while contributing to the field of elderly care and services.
In his presentation, IJBNet also explained various benefits and potentials of working as a Kaigo in Japan, including the opportunity to gain international work experience, develop Japanese language skills and professional skills, as well as build a career path in the field of elderly services that is needed in Japan.
The presence of IJBNet in the TDC-3 activities also strengthens the organization's commitment to introducing job opportunities and human resource development through Indonesia–Japan cooperation, especially to the younger generation and prospective graduates who are preparing to enter the professional world.
Through this opportunity, students not only gain insights into career choices after graduation but also information about opportunities to develop competencies and experience through the international job market.
